The first conversation is free
The first consultation costs nothing and is not a sales call. It covers an overview of your project, a review of your current system design, and an assessment of compatibility needs, so that both sides understand whether there is useful work to do. If there is not, we will say so.
Three ways we engage
Architecture help is needed at different moments, and the shape of the engagement should match the moment:
Initial project design
Starting from scratch with the right structure. Most valuable before significant code exists, when decisions are still cheap to change.
Mid-project assistance
For teams that are stuck, or facing rising costs caused by a design that no longer fits the problem. The work here is diagnostic first and prescriptive second.
Ongoing support
Continuous involvement from start to finish, including updates and improvements, for teams that want an architect available as the system evolves.
What an architect does on your project

Patterns are a starting point, not an answer
Widely used design patterns are useful, but they do not fit every project. We tailor solutions to the structure of your application and the needs of your business rather than applying a template and hoping it holds.

Engagements work best with clear communication, openness to guidance, and developer cooperation in implementing solutions and building proofs of concept. Architecture advice that nobody implements has no value, so this matters more than it sounds.
